Do I hate 0-11 year olds? Am I a bad teacher? Can I make it in America as a "real" teacher? Give me advice!

What did you like about the jobs you have had before? What did you dislike about them specifically? If what you liked were things like “I get paid enough to party,” “I get to travel and live wherever I want,” and “it’s easy,” those are not going to transfer well to teaching in the US.

Good point, I should have clarified this. The wanderlust is gone. I am settled down now. I want to relocate for family reasons.

but i don’t see anything in here that shows why you should be teaching high school SPED in particular. What is motivating you to continue working in this field?

With SPED, I think all of my biases go away. I get a student from a certain socio-economic background in the 0-11 and I expect a lot from them. I get pressured from their parents because their child is not at a certain a level.

I currently volunteer at an organization serving moderate to severe preteens, teens and young adults. I feel good.
