I hate being in a native family

It's the same way in any poor, disenfranchised community. And we can't forget that natives had their ancestral land stolen, their way of life essentially stolen, leaving them with nothing while at the same time forcing them to adapt to the modern world. It's also unfortunate that natives are biologically predisposed to alcoholism.

So while your situation is tough, don't blame it on being native. People made it tough being native, and how does anyone come back from that? It's hard.

It's awesome that you're a good student and so ambitious and hardworking. I hope you're able to pursue an education and go on to great things. Hopefully, one day you'll even be in a position to try to help your reservation improve.
