Hate comment regarding Korea women.

I'd say, in general, there's always gonna be people who hate unjustly. If you meet someone genuinely being racist, sexist, or doing some kind of lookism discrimination... well, if they're not worth listening to, don't bother paying them attention. Don't bother trying to change them -- it's not worth it, and it's not your responsibility.

Your argument on r/singapore wasn't really like that, though. People were talking about how awfully DJ Soda had been treated -- and you interjected that another, more popular DJ, was some nobody and a loser because his manager did something bad. I didn't see any comments about hating on her nationality, gender, or appearance whatsoever -- the only slightly negative comment was that she's more like a model that stands in front of a DJ set.

And honestly... that's fairly accurate. I mean, the only video I could find of DJ Soda in front of a mixer was a paid advertisement, where she did the production equivalent of lip-syncing (she's incredibly out of sync, pushes the same couple pads for wildly different sounds (it doesn't work like that lol) and uses the same knob for a wide variety of different effects at different times (also doesn't work like that, lol.))

You can be offended if you want to about that, or accuse me of being racist or sexist or whatever too. I mean, I'd say that's silly -- that the main person I've been learning mixing from this past year is asian and a female -- JVNA. But the truth is -- DJ Soda isn't trying to be like JVNA. JVNA spends her videos showcasing her productions, starring on other people's tracks as the producer, her live-streams show-casing how to do each step in the production process, etc. DJ Soda showcases how, with her cute outfits, incredibly energy, singing, and dancing, she pulls a large crowd and throws a great party. If anything, DJ Soda is not trying to be a DJ. That's why her soundcloud has 2 songs, and neither one she was the producer, but songs where she acted in the music video. But hey -- she's not advertising it, she's advertising her instagram and youtube, videos of the parties she hosts, etc. She's trying to be a dancer / entertainer / model that hosts music events. There's nothing wrong with that, and it looks like she's doing it very well! She's pretty, her fans look like they're enjoying her energy/performances... The whole experience looks like a good time! :D I'm not genuinely not hating -- I'd go to one of her shows! :D But you don't have to be offended if someone says she's more of an entertainer than a producer. She's not trying to be a producer, she's trying to be an entertainer. So... there's really nothing to be offended about. Just my two cents on the argument.
