That's like saying feeding a child can be cruel, if you're feeding them glass and rusty needles, it's just "what if" bullshit and it's demeaning to meaningful debate.

You misrepresented my initial statement which was just 'Turning hunting into a sport or a fun activity is cruel. Hunting for anything other than survival and necessity is cruel.'

And you brought in 'conservation'. Where did I mentioned anything about 'conservation'? Dont misrepresent what another person is saying, and strawman my argument and then turn around and talk to me about 'demeaning to meaningful debate'.

Strawman logical fallacies and widespread generalizations are also not good debate tactics. And if you arent finding meaning here, did you try looking somewhere else?
