i hate how people assume my political views and beliefs only because im trans

tbh its quite surprising that in such country you can start under 18. unfortunately society is the biggest problem, i understand, but it is how eastern europe is. i hope in the next generation things will change because i notice that youth people are the way more friendly about this stuff, but you know, there is still a lot of people who support gays, but don't support transsexuals. i live in russia, and in russian-speaking internet terf is a really popular ideology. i mean, really, it's not like in the western internet. because a lot of women are kinda feminists in the bad way and you know, trans people offend them. trans men for them are confusing girls who just don't want to be a woman because of "how badly women are treated in our society((" and need to cure internal misogyny. trans women ofc just men oppressors who transitioned only to go in women restrooms and rape everyone. and ofc "trans people support gender stereotypes" thing is really popular. they have a really big victim complex. but outside of this people don't really think about trans people, although.. the biggest problem is a goverment, because all these "traditional values", recent laws about lgbt "propaganda" (your existence is already propaganda i guess), politicians and propagandists who always talk how in the west everyone are gay and trans, how in usa kids transitioning in 5 yo without parents consent, put trans next to pedophilia and other shit. as i know it is even hard for trans people to marry and adopt children. they're talking about a law that could ban "sex change" altogether, and i honestly wouldn't be surprised if it will happen. plus russian orthodoxy church has its influence in the government and you understand what happens in this point. its just frustrating when everyone around hate you, even your own country treats you as a second class person and builds its ideology on hate of you. as i said, the biggest enemy of russia after the west and nato, lmao. i can't say much about the legal part because i still haven't started the transition and probably won't be able to in the next few years, unfortunately, but it is how it is. cant also say a lot about other post-soviet countries, i guess things are not really better than here, but at least i don’t see such an ideological fixation on this as in russia.
