I hate it when a book gets adapted into a movie, and the publisher changes the book cover to the film poster.

Same here, I like to envision characters in my own way based on descriptions given in books. For example, my idea of how Harry and his friends looked were very different. Snape was different, and so was Sirius. Books generally provide imagery so that the readers can use their imagination and envision in their own way how characters might look like, etc. I don’t want Daniel Radcliffe’s dead expressions ruining my Harry, or Emma Watson’s nice hair and composure ruining my Hermione.

I hate everything being replaced by an image of some hot looking model or some celebrities and shit. If they were that desperate to use celebrities, they should market them as a separate “special” version
