I don't think we should be gatekeeping, honestly. There are varying degrees of FA-ness. I'm not a virgin either, but I still very much identify as FA. Lifelong inability to easily make and keep friends? Check. Still single and never married at 41, with less relationship and romantic experience than the average person half my age? Check. No social circle, loner, introvert? Check. But I've had sex, so I guess I'm not FA enough, right? Doesn't matter that I live a soul-crushingly lonely existence and am unable to just put myself out there.

I don't mean to come across as abrasive to anyone in particular, but I think there tends to be a certain amount of gatekeeping on here.
