Having conflicting thoughts about my girlfriend [F/F, late teens]

Oh wow. At first I thought I was on /r/relationships and didn't click that this was an LDR. I mean, my point doesn't change but things like respect and obvious care need to be like 10x more prevalent in an LDR because all you really HAVE is words.

I can't imagine ever hiding my boyfriend's face while we watch a movie together because seeing him is infinitely more important than anything I could see in a film. That honestly set off a whole bunch of red alerts for me.

In a relationship you need to be able to feel safe and secure. If she's not giving you that at only 9 months in, she won't give you that in a year, two years, ten years, when things start to get more challenging. Is this really what you want to live with?
