Sure, the war is fucked, and many soldiers are not to be praised for what they’ve done. With that said, many US citizens owe $200,000+ in student loan debt and the military is a indentured service to pay for that, men and women risking their lives to simply get an education because they are that desperate for it.

Many soldiers, marines, airmen, seaman are good people and do as much good as they can.

If you truly have suffered from the US military war efforts, I’m terribly sorry and there’s no way anyone can Tell you to feel differently. You have every right. But also understand that’s not how these men and women view themselves if they haven’t experience shit like you’re sharing.
