It seems to fall into the trap a lot of internet cartoons do which is being vulgar or raunchy for the sake of it because 'Can you believe thing that looks like the cartoon for kids is doing the sex and blood and swear?'. It might get improved, though- even Rick and Morty's beginnings were the... 'thing' that was 'Doc and Mharti', and I think Hazbin Hotel's off to a better start than that.

Honestly they just need someone to help focus it and reel it in a bit. I hope it improves though, I personally liked the voice performances and the designs. As it stands, to go back to the R&M comparison, it feels a bit too 'Justin Roiland without a Dan Harmon'. It can be better, but the writing needs to go further than 'Funnie swear sex'- to make those things the part of a joke rather than the joke itself.
