HBO Frat House NEVER AIRED! (1998)

yuh

personal experience: -hands on mantle, wood paddle across shoulders, ass out, drilled with paddle, cant let 2nd paddle fall off shoulders or you do it again -show up to house at 5am. brothers bought industrial size condiments and cereal from costco, stayed up all night boozing, and wrecked the ENTIRE house with that stuff. we had to be that are 5am, clean, while getting hazed and quizzed, with death metal at deafening sounds -blindfolded and hogtied, brought to field behind huge industrial powerplant middle of the night, have to dig holes with bare hands, while getting hazed, quizzed, and have to eat concoctions in water bottles. ex: horse radish, maple syrup, vinegar, mustard, whole milk, anchovies, coffee grounds. microwaved. -hell week: stay at house whole week, windows covered with blankets, all of our class schedules on the walls so brothers knew where each of us were at all times, zero sleep for 4 nights, every night hazed in 10 x 10 ft room with insulated doors. inside were 20 pledges in button downs and khakis, 10 brothers, and 10 space heaters. easily hit 100+ in there. mental exhaustion made everything that much worse. after heating, when we were soaked, we were blindfolded and sat in silence on the back porch for an hour at 2am in December before the question comes up, "dude WTF man WHY would you let them do that?" /u/Im_Helping (youre obviously entitled to your opinions dude) because it starts gradually. its such a slow build up you dont even realize whats happening til its over. its the definition of being brainwashed. youre also a freshmen that doesnt know a soul. this place holds the key to an awesome party house, social network to all the hottest girls on campus, all the bars have bartenders and bouncers who are your boy, test banks to ace tests with 15 minutes of studying, best parties on campus, sick vacations, sick spring break, hella extra curriculars to put on your resume and what they say is 100% true. "its the best time you never want to have again." its like going through war (not to downplay what our service men and women do). youre 18, stupid, and you have a common enemy that through Pavlonian training makes you have anxiety attacks when your text tone goes off. you and your friends are fighting this Hitler. you become best friends in a way i imagine only soldiers experience (again, all relative. stupid kids in frats are not even jokingly comparable to our soldiers). and its so much fun to do it to pledges next year. and pretend you hate them when in reality they're all cool guys. youre as excited for them to finish as they are, but you never let on to it. its like being a parent and having 5 year olds and experiencing christmas edit: sorry more. went to school in rural south east. and we were not the worst frat in terms o hazing by a long shot
