HBO's The Last Of Us series might be one of the most expensive shows ever made. The 8-figure per episode budget rivals that of Game Of Thrones.

I'm calling it now. It's going to. Pedro Pascal is very cool. He won't be enough. Unless they DRAMATICALLY change the story, this will flop hard. The writing wo have to be top notch. I'd be willing to bet it won't be.

It's YET ANOTHER zombie show. It's been done into the ground. People "loved" the story but the reality is they were hooked by a cheap, emotional gimmick at the opening. The rest was lackluster at best. Everyone will disagree with me now. That's fine. I've got being right to keep me company until everyone else catches up.

Really, really bad call to throw a large amount of money at this. Especially GoT money. And it's frustrating because this will slow a better show from getting the same kind of funding. Just because some douche made a bad call about this one.
