That’s another fact I had forgotten. The only thing I can think would be that the intruder thought JB was already dead from the head wound. I could see the intruder hanging around a while to write the note, and apparently practice it, and do whatever it is was done to her body, realize she wasn’t dead, make the “garrote,” and then strangle her, but it does seem likely that wouldn’t take 2 hours. Who do you think hit her initially and who do you think strangled her 2 hours later and why? If Burke initially hit her, I don’t think it was likely that he was still awake 2 hours later. But if he was, what do you think he was doing that whole time?
