Heading to Europe for 40 days, critique/advise my travel plans!

We kind of sound like identical people. Your trip to Europe is 40 days. Mine is exactly 40 days. I get there a little past halfway through May and get home at the end of June. You're going to be starting medical school, I'll be starting my nursing program. Both really into physical fitness and both going solo.

I did Lisbon, Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona (and Morocco) last summer and I had the trip of my life. Lisbon, Seville, and Barcelona have amazing nightlife and I have great memories of those nights(of the stuff I do remember, which is most of it). As for daytime activities, I don't really have much to add other than the usual destinations or attractions you'll find on a quick google search. Running along the coastline in Barcelona was really amazing too.

This summer I'm starting in Prague, then Krakow, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Dubrovnik, Athens, Mykonos, Bucharest, and Istanbul. I've got a few other day trips to smaller local cities scattered in there. I think some people here are going to tell you're traveling between cities kind of fast, but I find your pace to be perfect. Your city order (geographically) is kind of ass backwards, but I imagine you did it that way because you got cheaper flights in that order. I'm staying pretty exclusively at party hostels as its been by far the best way to make friends/have social interaction while solo travelling. I might've gone a little overboard on some of them, but I'll find a way.

Anyways, I'm about just as stoked as you for my trip. Just got to handle my stuff the rest of this semester and I'm gone. We got 2 more months. Hang in there.
