Heading to Ft. Wainright in March. Any advice?

Like hawg_farmer mentioned, buy "happy lights". They're special lamps that emit a certain level of UV that release vitamin D (insert jokes here), and help even out your hormone levels.

Take up boating. It's a huge boon.

Change your state of residence to AK. You may get the occasional free stimmy check and no state tax. (you may also one day have dual Russian citizenship)

Take up shooting, but only in a rimfire cartridge, like .44 MAG lever action or 7.62 Nagant (lever actions are popular for some stupid reason)

Stay away from the women. AK has one of the highest rates of sexual assault in the US. You don't want to get caught up in a misunderstanding.

Research Helinox and other premium outdoor gear. With that, start a YouTube channel discussing the value of various outdoor gear in extreme cold weather. Work on your public speaking, etc.

Learn your JOB. 68A is not an easy life, especially when equiopment is always breaking, due to adverse conditions. Get your certifications, and work on your DEGREE. Experience+degree= big money, where one or the other doesn't amount to shit. Seriously, as a former 68, without the certs, your experience doesn't mean shit. Use all your downtime to improve things you can put on your resume.
