Anyways, I can speak on this and hopefully shed some light on why there isn't a Megathread up.

We have objective criteria that we use to determine if a Megathread is put up and something just being important is ot one of those criteria. Why? Because it keeps us from stickying something we think is important. In fact, it takes us out of the equation completely in terms of that decision; it either meets the requirements or it doesn't.

You guy can see for yourself that those are nowhere near full of the same story (like it was yesterday for everything going on in the sports world). There are already great threads our users have put up that have wonderful discussion happening in them right now, including this one!

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is we try to be as objective as possible with what we sticky so that it isn't us saying what is important and shoving that onto you guys. This does not meet our criteria right now, it doesn't mean it isn't important!
