There are so few women in the trades because its dangerous. The men who go into those fields are by and large violently misogynistic, and if they aren’t they allow it because “it’s just how the guys are, I don’t want them to be mean to ME”. Even outside of the workers, women can’t go into peoples homes or isolated places by ourselves without taking a massive risk that we’re going to be violated somehow. I’m sure there are TONS of women who would love to have well paying trade/union jobs.

Also this dipshit has apparently never left a city, because anyone in a rural place knows that women can do all the same stuff men can, including fixing toilets and digging a hole.
