As heard in my 200 person Intro to Business class

Yes, bitcoin is created and maintained by raw stupidity. The vitriol of your arguments overshadows any kind of valid criticism you might have.

But you see, it doesnt. When you so vehemently support and throw money into something worthless and in violation of basic rules of economics, finance, and common sense, yes, I'd say a fair amount of stupidity is driving what little activity there is in bitcoin. I quite frankly and very simply think you're stupid, or just plain ignorant where it counts. I don't judge, you could be either.

How do you transfer value over the Internet without a 3rd party?

But you can't do that with bitcoin. Particularly not in anything close to a practical, rational, or sane fashion. And what's wrong with a middleman to take critical roles? I don't perform surgery on myself.

How does bitcoin solve this problem in "the worst way possible?" what are some alternatives to bitcoin technology that solves this problem in a better way?

Besides the fact that it's completely unusable and absolutely riddled with basic security flaws, brutally inefficient and needlessly complex implementation, and absolutely basic, bottom lines flaws elsewhere behind both theory and implementation. All this in order to develop some sort of deluded libertarian fantasyland of a decentralized, "trustless" transaction system (and yet, bitcoin is still neither of those things) for heavens knows what reason.

Again the arguments you present indicate you don't have a clear understanding of this issue or have some sort of emotional hangup here. At least make your criticism make sense.

I have an incredibly clear understanding of bitcoin and the general topics surrounding it, and unlike you, I'm not financially invested in it. I have a significant background in finance, this is a dumb idea, yet you all run around reddit parroting your obvious idiocy to everyone who will give you the time of day in order to rope more suckers into your stupid little pyramid. I think it's just sick. If I wasn't sure you were an idiot, I'd be convinced you were just a horrible human being.
