Honestly the developers showed one fact they are incompetent when it comes to balancing the game right now. Seriously they thought it was okay to make so many broken combo decks and absolutely ruin any fun decks someone can come up with to push questlines. You know it's a problem when everyone ran the warlock questline, if I recall the data had 99 percent of warlocks decks running the card due to how flexible it was. Then they made spell mage a deck that literally goes face to win and destroy your board. So they made a deck that has 0 interaction, and let's not forget the better fucking Raza priest they made for hunter. By this point I hate to say it but they truly are incompetent and let's not forget making Mr Smite as a finisher for pirate decks and of course another OTK enabler for Rogue. Just wow how poorly do they hire balance teams. Which sucks because they are good people but they legitimately think this is good then they are incompetent about what makes Hearthstone fun. Though I guess then need to remind us hearthstone sucks by pumping out shitty modes they fix over a year later. Seriously it's exhausting to play this game for anything but battlegrounds, which oddly is the only reason I come back to this game, occasionally I'll beat a quest because I forgot how terrible standard is so woooooo good job dev team!
