[Heavy Metal] The Saga of Blake Judd P2 of 2: Ascension Monuments Media, the face-changing label.

Great write-up, OP. I haven't followed the latest happenings on Blake Judd/AMM in years, but I'm not even slightly surprised that he's exploited people's second (and third, fourth, fifth...) chances once again and torched any shred of goodwill he managed to cobble together.

It's almost enough to make me not sympathize with Wrest, Yusuke, et al. Every single time Blake's tried the "I'm totally good again, send me your money!" song-and-dance it's inevitably been the lead-in to yet another scam, and a new wave of Blakecrush starts up... only to be forgotten in a few years. You'd think the persona non grata status would stick after a few tries, but I'm sure we'll be hearing about his next scam in 2027 or so.

There's a bitter sort of irony to the edgy Never Stop The Madness "everyone should do hard drugs to weed out the weak" social Darwinist bullshit on old Nachtmystium merch given how bad those same drugs fucked up his life (White Powder Not White Power is still a great tagline, though). It's a shame how good Nachtmystium and Twilight are/were musically -- stuff like Instinct: Decay and Assassins: Black Meddle, Pt. I still holds up really well, but I'd rather support acts like Krieg who aren't going to screw me out of my money.
