The fact you feel this way I think lends credence to you not being doomed. But again, I am just a man. It's your relationship with God, and yours alone where your answer lies.

However, the top comment I think should clear up a lot, as it seemed it did when you responded to them.

I too have recently come back to Jesus. So making this comment feels very uncomfortable for me, and I hope I haven't added any confusion because of it. I just know if I was in your shoes, interpreting that 'yes' the way you may have, would cause great anxiety.
