Years ago my neighbor's oldest daughter (who was 30 years old at the time) moved back in with them after she had a divorce. Months went by without much more than simple greetings between us but then one day we started talking. I really wasn't interested in dating a woman who had just gone through a messy divorce but we had a lot in common and with nudges from other people in my life I decided to ask her out. Well, that was a huge mistake because she wasn't at all interested and now it was awkward having her as a close neighbor. We had a long talk though about relationships and she explained what happened with her marriage. She showed me a picture of her with her ex-husband (average looking guy, 6'2"-6'4" range) and she explained that he was her ultimate dream guy ("I love tall guystm"). But what happened was he cheated on her over a period of 3 years with over 2 dozen women. She wasn't sure exactly how many women for sure, but he kept it all hidden from her. This guy worked in construction and stopped by bars after work and picked up women.
A few months later I awkwardly meet her new boyfriend who (ironically) was a bar bouncer at one of the clubs her ex-husband would frequent. Lol.
So, a 30 year old woman (with a poor income potential), who otherwise seemed intelligent, with a great personality, turned me down for even one free dinner date. I make probably 2.5 times the salary of her ex-husband, and have my own house. All while she is stuck living with her elderly parents. Now she is banging a guy about the height and salary potential of her ex-husband with the personality of a common door knob.
Its her preference obviously, and I only write this as an example of how some women simply just want pure masculinity in their lives at all costs.
