I listen to "news radio" on the way to and from home work every day. The main thing I notice is how much they throw police officer deaths in your face. A fucking cop stubs his toe and it gets air time. They said at some point that less than 20 officers died in the year of duty to date. The news story directly after was talking about how almost 70 people died in Lake Michigan to date. Of those 70+, there were news stories on maybe three of them. The other thing I noticed is how they love news stories about average citizens being charitable. It's almost as if they want it to seem like corporations should have no part in helping out people and you, as the average citizen, it is your duty to be charitable, not the actual people with all the money.
