Hello r/Poland, I'm a Black American and want to visit your country, should I be concerned about Racism?

I’ve answered this before but I’ll say some more. I’m black, from California and been visiting Poland since 2015. In fact, I met my now wife in Krakow and she’s here in Boston with me. I have met some amazing people in Poland and have some really good friends there now. They have never treated me like an outsider. Her family is now my family and we are also in touch. The only racism I have ever encountered were loser drunks on the street. Nothing to worry about there.

We hope to visit after COVID is over and possibly relocate there one day.

I can only speak for Krakow and have spent time in Wroclaw, Katowice, and a few villages near her hometown (village) by the Slovakian border. I actually prefer the villages over the city.

Can’t speak too much on Warsaw but I hope you enjoy your time. If you ever wanna visit Krakow I have some recommendations.
