Because America is famously and comically fatter than the rest of the world. That's probably why. In my old town, I used to see the fattest women and some horribly obese like I shit you not my parents didn't feed my they GORGED me people. I'm guessing it comes with being in a first world country proud of having fast food and having walmarts with the same mass produced bullshit on every street corner. Cancer. Utter cancer.

It's shit like this that is why terrorism exists. America is founded on being the land of plenty and yadda yadda but when your population is actually becoming consumed by their own overconsumption, they tend to become assholes. . Taking people's money if you are a fat slob is somehow more picturesque to me too.
