Hellp! Music teacher asked to teach High School art next year!!

This is an opportunity to become the ultimate project manager. Your district has decided to not provide an expert in the room, so you will need to become the person who manages everyone’s project as you point them to resources, materials, equipment, and strategies for their workflow. Students will need to pitch their own projects, write up why they want to do them and what they will learn. You will need to bring in artists to run workshops, you will need students to identify what materials they will need, you will need to design and run crits and feedback sessions where students will determine for themselves what constitutes good work. You’ll need to figure out a system where students are reflecting on and documenting their progress. This class will be all about personal and artistic growth. This is awesome and I’m excited for you.
