Help Dunking

I'm not sure if weight training is good for someone so young, but if you do -- squats and deadlifts are your go-to workouts. But be careful, you need great form for both of these, or else you will injure yourself. You also a gym membership or weight set.. So don't do it unless you have someone to teach you.

You can also work on perfecting your jumping form. Make it as efficient as possible to gain the most vertical. I'm 5'7" and I can grab the rim. I never focused on working out, but I did like to jump over shit when I was growing up. So I think just practicing jumping a lot is the best thing you can do.

Sadly grabbing the rim is the easy part -- getting the ball over the rim is what stops most people from dunking. After you're able to grab the rim, you will need to add a few more inches of vertical to consistently get the ball over the rim. A good way to practice this is to dunk with a tennis ball. It sounds silly, but it helps give you the motions.

Also, jumping with the ball is hard, so get a good feel on how you jump with the basketball.

Best of luck man! And you're still pretty young and tall for your age, so you might even be able to dunk naturally in a few years lol.
