Help Facebook moms, my autistic son is thinking for himself. How do I stop it?

Why can't her son be open minded about something that literally thousands of studies confirmed as harmless? I mean, they're just scientists.

Lol, the "why" is an easy answer... at least if his mother bothered to educate herself even a little on autism, especially high functioning. ASD tends to come with that annoying little symptom of being firmly grounded in the physical world, aka reality and anything quantifiable. When things start to not add up, many autistic kids start to ask hard questions. Heck, even on community things like religion it's much easier to sell autistic kids on the social benefits than the supernatural.

Just saying there is a reason the autistic tend to gravitate towards STEM fields (or Arts) if they have the opportunity.
