Help Family of 4 Avoid Eviction due to Layoff

I am an Army veteran and have worked hard all my life. If you're wondering why i dont go to the VA for help...i did and they offered $500 and only if I have an eviction notice and attend classes. I also have gone to multiple churches large and small and they had no help to offer...which was a big disappointment. We desperately need help to keep a roof over my family's head. We are a family of 4 with 2 young boys still at home. My wife and I were both laid off in December 2013. I started working again in March 2014 only to be laid off again this December 2014. We have been without work for almost 6 months. My wife had to stay at home for health reasons. I was collecting unemployment while also working whatever small jobs I could find. The unemployment took almost 2 months to kick in ( i wont go into the inefficiency of the system) which caused us to live off the small savings we had and also we were then hit with the costly unexpected expense of needed car repairs (over $2,000) on our only vehicle. This took all our savings. The unemployment also ran out last month. We sold our 2nd car to a family member to give us funds and also to help them out as they had no transportation. Unfortunately they left town and have not paid on the car. We have cut all expenses except fundamental needs. I've sold pretty much everything of value and pawned personal family things that are irreplaceable. So currently i'm behind 1 months rent and by July 10th will be 2 months behind. I can't make enough money with side jobs quickly enough to cover rent.

Good news is that i did get hired for a full time, permanent position....but will not start actually working until August, which means it will be a while until i get a check. This is a blessing and a huge relief that removed most of the huge knot in my stomach. We just need help to get over this hump. If we get evicted...well i feel sick just thinking about it. I dont have money to move and it costs a lot as you know to move into a place with deposits etc and my employment history is not good with 2 layoffs.

Your generous charity will help to restore my family financially and give us peace of mind. It will also show my children how much others are willing to help their fellow man in time of need. We will be morally indebted to return the favor once we are back on our feet. Anything you can do would be appreciated. :-)
