Help finding a job

Try the temp agencies. Usually a good place to find work. I'm sure they find a few things that will match your skills that aren't specifically supply chain too. Staffing agencies are really good at getting past HR and directly to the hiring manager/director/vp. As I'm sure you understand HR doesn't necessarily represent the goals or find the quality or personalities of potential employees that the manager or director is looking for. Essentially HR is usually very stuck up and applies stupid rules they learned form some book or college class that would never work in real life. In the IT world is is more often the case than not. And many temp jobs are much higher paying than strait direct hire w2. Since they don't offer benefits and vacation. This is super awesome if you've been un-employed for a bit and need to catch up on bills. Not to mention in my industry thy just don't have any clue what the job requirements and technical terms mean. They just look for resumes with key words on them. Example position for sanitation engineer. They're really looking for someone who picks up heavy trash cans. These HR people are so stupid they'll actually look for the word engineer in a resume. Poor/Extreme example but I'm sure you can apply that to your industry.

So temp agencies are awesome. I used to love short high paying jobs cause I'd just screw off and have fun between short contracts. Building a good report with staffing agents that have longevity is super good too. One staffing agency in Utah is responsible for 85% of my income over the last 10yrs. When they figured out I liked short contracts I got whole lot of them....
