Help getting my girlfriend a service dog?

I thought so too but the meds she has been on, which are a lot, have all either had negative effects on her or just dont work. The one she is on currently doesnt work, and I guess there are signs of PTSD according to her therapist, in terms of how the panic attacks trigger and their severity.

Ok. Having signs of PTSD without a formal diagnosis or her meds currently not working will not make this make sense.

This is something to consider after spending years working with professionals with experience in treatment resistant depression and anxiety and exhausting treatment options while following medical advice consistently, avoiding drugs, and making healthy lifestyle choices.

It is not something to seriously consider prior to reaching that point. Anxiety and depression are almost always treatable on a long term basis. Until a MD experienced with treatment resistant depression and anxiety suggests that this is a reasonable avenue to pursue I would hold off. This amount of money could fund quite a lot of medical treatment designed to actually treat the underlying issues.
