[Help] looking for Poems that relate to everyday life and college kids who don't give a hoot about poetry!

How about this one.

The tiger prowling in the night, The snake with its reluctant bite, The wolf, the lion, and the bear Have nothing for a man to fear Beside the enemies you'll face From members of the human race. For each will make his friend his slave And switch your places if they can, And no one but yourself will save You from the ruling crimes of man.

I found it on the internet.

Or this-

The place your boyfriend hasn't been - Because of your pretence of shame; The place your sister hasn't seen; The part of you that has no name.

The part your father likes to think His thoughtful daughter wouldn't dare When she has had a sip to drink To show another, or to share.

The part of you you can't disguise; The part least thought of when you're dressed - Is when I look into your eyes The part of you I like the best.

The part of you the others cuss, The part of you that goes unsung, The part that you will not discuss- Is where a poet puts his tongue.

I swear it by the stars above: The part of which you will not boast Is out of all the parts I love The part I want to know the most.

I think it's more accessible than ginsberg
