Help me decide my future.

You’re 16. Take your time make sure it’s what you want. I signed up at 17 and I owe a lot in my life to my experience. But, I hated prototype and boat life and got out as soon as I could.

As far as family visiting, in A school and power school it’s not really worth it. You’ll live on your own or with roommates in prototype and they can visit your home but can’t see where you work/study. When you get to a boat/ship they can visit the base but not the engine room where you will work.

I’m not a “shit bag” by any means I was a captains signature away from EWS and LPO of RC Div as a second class. I fucking hated the boat. I had a shitty first command though and if I had a good one there is probably a damn good chance I’d still be in.

Also, if you commit now you would best be served keeping your nose clean and learning some life skills before you ship out.
