Help me prove my friend wrong.

1) Harden just doesn't really try on defense. I guess Durant sometimes doesn't, either, but eh. Durant has the length advantage but Harden's actually a fairly capable defender if he's actually trying. Overall, Durant's definitely better though.

2) Durant's just ridiculously efficient so that's hard to argue too, but your friend's also right in a sense. Harden's taking a lot more shots, especially this season, and has to carry almost the entire offensive load so his numbers drop.

3) I don't really know what you're saying here but KD's usage rate is 30.2 vs Harden's 32.2 and harden has a higher turnover % at 12.6 vs Durant's 11.3. They're both very turnover-prone though.

4) Harden's a pretty good passer and Durant's pretty average IMO. No evidence to really back it up but I give this to Harden.

5) ??? I don't follow. Durant's numbers this year are really similar to his MVP season. I don't think his game has changed much, and I'd really just chalk it up to stats variation.

6) What?

7) Harden really did become a lot better when he was traded to houston. While he'd still be great in OKC, being the primary ball handler, scorer, etc. has really helped him blossom. Not having to share possessions with two offensive juggernauts helps.

8) That team really underperformed tihs year. ty Lawson didn't fit the system at all since he's a ball-dominant player and Harden's the main ball handler, and Dwight's a very limited player despite his earlier dominance. Ariza's nice, I guess. Rockets were pretty terrible this year for sure though.

9) We'll never know, but I think they're both better where they're currently are. Durant's efficiency is very valuable for the Thunder and Harden's level of ball dominance might clash with how Westbrook operates.

10) I think Durant's just better overall, but they're pretty close. Harden's still an amazing player.
