first of all, your form is really good. The way you have it could work just fine.
Here is a quick re-write though, perhaps it will stimulate some synapses :)
comma's are short pauses, hyphens longer pauses, and slashes are even longer pauses:
Hello Reader, hello Friend,
I was writing, now you're reading - now we're making /
Making a balance, a barrier - now we're creating /
A barrier public & narrow - a barrier created by art /
A barrier narrow & more narrow - but a barrier bridged by art /
Created by art, bridged by art - now we're making
A new experience /
A new experience everyday - everyday we're making something new /
We're making equal access & equal tools,
Joining bridges, buildings towers of new confidence -
Art is never lacking because Interpretation is never lacking -
Because YOU are never lacking /
Even if we can't interpret or engage, even if we read once and then choose to move elsewhere,
When we ignore we build language /
When we interpret & reply we build language /
Engage and you gain discussion, building participation -
Our art is made of participation, frustration, intimidation, wrongness /
Our art is made of blurs becoming buildings -
Of languages falling down & re-assembling, by YOU -
You, the creator,
You, the interpreter /
Even blurs are something, even blurbs are something -
Never something out of nothing, there is always something /
Interpreting -
Something out of something, building art out of gaps and bridges,
Building persona's out of new language -
There are no magicians behind the curtain,
Only more artists, building bridges to somewhere /
Something out of something /
Blurring language via persona, building persona via language /
Curating gardens of narrow spaces, still ecstatic in limitation /
The public is an artist -
Your eyes are an artist -
My hands are an artist because
Our movements are always brand new -
Brand new museum critics, art dealers, thieves & buyers
Museum gatekeepers and museum security guards -
Art is build from narrow spaces, bridges spanning narrow gaps /
YOU, dear reader, you are access, you are freedom -
My hands shaping clay, my pen stroking page -
We are freedom from isolation /
YOU, are freedom from isolation /
We are all access, our bridges connecting isolated islands,
Our bridges connecting schools & childhood, adulthood & frustration /
Narrow gaps of time, narrow spaces of languages -
Being built and torn down and built again,
Using the rubble as a new cornerstone, using time
As a bridge to & from isolation /
Mentioning my work to the sky & denied
Access /
Mentioning my work to a reader & creating
New bridges /
No artist works alone.
