Help Needed for Dance (1:1 succ needed)

I think this would like nice with a black suit and the bee gives your shirt some personality when your jacket is off without being the basic polo horse logo.

For the suit jacket and pants, I don't have a link, but I know if you get full measurements done by a tailor you can send them to trusted Chinese tailors for bespoke suits at a fraction of the cost. It depends on the time frame though, you definitely want a tailored suit and not one from China unless you send your measurements to a real tailor for the 1:1 bespoke succ.

There are tons of ties, but your best bet is to hit the search bar or go to Darcy and find one that compliments whatever your date is wearing. A major point that I disagree with in coordination with a date after high school is that you don't have to wear a blue tie because your date has a blue dress. You should compliment each other, but you don't have to match exactly. Darcy has a lot among other random places on Taobao, there are a lot of options if you search ties here.

I always buy gen dress shoes. I find every designer, even gen, fit slightly different and for a nice looking oxford/loafer you want them to fit perfectly, it's tough to get that without actually trying them on with dress socks at the store. A solid pair of dress shoes should last for years given your feet don't change size. By the way, you should cop some subtle dress socks or louder ones, as long as they are dress socks and not hypebeast shit, that compliment your tie/pocket square.

For a belt, I wouldn't go for anything with a print, they're not formal. Make sure that the metal on your belt matches both the metal on your shoe (if it is a loafer/monk strap/etc.) and your watch (if you're wearing one). Stay with either gold or silver tones. Also, depending on the suit color, the color leather of your belt should always match your shoes. A dress belt should be an accent, not a statement. I think Darcy is the way to go with here. I think a Hermes H belt, Ferragamo, or the Tom Ford with T buckle belt would look killer.

I think one of the main things to remember, is $100 suit tailored perfectly will look better than a $5,000 suit that doesn't fit right and that is the core of your formal wear. Find out what color your date is wearing as soon as possible and work from there. You can make a huge statement with a designer tie that compliments her dress and socks that match. A subtle logo belt like the ones I mentioned can go a long way as well, your friends may be ignorant of the brands, but the girls won't be.

Finally, if you have time and depending on your budget, a nicely curated watch can be the cherry on top of the perfect formal outfit. If you have an idea what your suit/belt/color scheme is gonna look like, you can PM and I'll send you some options.
