Help a tropics person on how to dress in Oslo’s weather, please

I have one tip to add as a southern person who didn’t figure it out until her Tromsø partner and his fam started to subtly gift me warm clothes in winter: Invest in good quality parka and shoes that will last you years. I (known as Wolverine for my ability to tear through clothes and shoes), live in my Timberlands and my Fjalravn parka 5 months of the year. That parka is like wearing a down duvet at all times. One extra tip: woolen fisherman’s sweater. Second extra tip: get a good woolen scarf for your neck and keep your neck and ankles covered when it’s cold. It’s the number one way to avoid colds. The second best way: industrial quantities of vitamin D. I used to source that on my trips to Bulgaria where it was cheaper but now its more available in Norway (Norwegians drink tran instead which is how they get their vit D.)
