“Help with the fight against SARS-CoV-2 from home: donate your computer’s background CPU & GPU time to researchers and clinicians using Rosetta@Home & Folding@Home”

To anyone who is willing to read,

Not sure if this idea is worth sharing, but if it is and I didn't I would definitely regret not sharing it.

We never know what will happen in the future, where the outbreaks will be, what complications we will face, but we will be stronger as a nation the if we are better organized with our digital communication.

To bridge the gaps in government new releases and website

Let's say for example we have an outbreak in Toronto and need to feed the senior population that is spread out over a series of 50 condos. The government is dealing with sick employees, the hospitals are maxed out, government budgets depleting, fear spreading, what happens to our seniors? I think if this happened tomorrow I don't know how fast our government would act and how many more Canadians will have died to lack of planning.

The ability to have an automated citizen response organized by location is a great way to solve several issues.

The following naming convention for facebook groups allows you to instantly use those 50 condo addresses to map 50 new facebook groups that can generate instant residential response teams. You could also do this by city or area within a city in the same capacity. This simple guide could work in other countries as an ad hoc communication relief network to aid the government in times of need.

If the government becomes overwhelmed we will need to step up. If we’ve learned anything so far it’s that we do not react well under pressure with panic buying, fear mongering, racism, etc… It doesn’t matter if 90% of the population has common sense, 10% and a free market is a wild one at best. This system allows the country to better address its citizens' concerns and deliver a more instant response that can better prevent the spread.

Some people think its a good idea but no one will ever do it, I thought I would just share in case others liked it and could help get this idea or something similar rolling soon...

Let's make history :)
