Hennepin County records first positive COVID-19 test

I'm seeing a lot of misinformation on here so I'm just gonna address a few things.

Unless you're over ~60, immunocompromised, or regularly interact with the above mentioned groups, you shouldn't be freaking out. If you do get it, it'll be like getting the flu and you'll get over it. Not a huge deal, in terms of your health. Although you will have to self quarantine and that might be an issue if you don't have paid sick leave and/or can't work from home. I'm truly sorry if that's the case - this country needs to get its shit together when it comes to worker protections.

The virus is spread through droplets. If you wash your hands OFTEN and don't touch your face, you will most likely be fine. Unless of course, someone with the virus sneezes or coughs directly in your face. But that is highly unlikely.

Do stay clean and wash your hands, but you don't need to completely avoid public places.
