Henry Cejudo wants the Main Event winner to be the back up for UFC 288

Henry hasn’t out wrestled anyone (as far as takedowns and top control) besides Sergio Pettis. That’s about it. He had moments with DJ in the second fight but he isn’t a strong submission grappler, and he doesn’t pass well (whether by choice or his lack of passing game idk which).

I could see Sean giving him issues as Tim Welch is pretty in tune with current submission grappling meta and has been drilling wrestle ups since last fall if I had to guess. I’d imagine Sean will be pretty comfy at getting to turtle and being tough to keep down come this fall when he fights.

I think Merab is a tough matchup for him as well and could end up being a war.
