The attitude expressed in your comment is, "Since the wall won't be 100% effective we should not build it. Also, because we already have murderers in America, we shouldn't care when someone from another country comes here and does the same thing." Surely you can see how ridiculous your attitude is. Condoms aren't 100% effective, but people use them. Nothing is 100% effective. But I guarantee you the wall will dramatically cut down on illegal immigration into the country. Also, if it was your family being terrified to go outside because of MS13 gang members or you had a child killed or raped by an illegal immigrant, you might feel differently. We've already got enough bad hombres in the US, why let more enter the country? And no, I don't hate illegal immigrants. Most of them are good people just trying to find a better life. But the economic impact on native born workers, in terms of things like lost wages, overcrowding, increased rents, overburdened schools, etc has been disastrous. Not to mention illegals use an enormous amount of welfare for their children who are born here. It'd be nice if the US could take in the world and maintain a nice standard of living for it's people. But they can't. Immigrants need to stay in their countries and work to make their countries better.
