I lived with someone just like this guy for three months.

It was a 4 person student apartment that I got into through my university, and two of the other tenants went away for most of the semester but kept their leases.

So it's just me and this freshman for 3 months. He seemed pretty normal at first, but the first thing he asked me is how I felt about weed among other telling questions. From week two or three onward he literally had multiple people over each night, and they all did drugs and played horrendous music cranked up to 11 until they passed out at around 5AM.

It's fucking impossible to have a normal life when theirs a literal circus of drunk fuccboi man children that lives right outside your bedroom door. He even tampered with the fire alarms so he could smoke inside, but because he couldn't get into my room mine would go off multiple times a week in the middle of the night.

Any attempts to reason with him failed, at first he would be super polite and apologize and say he made a mistake. But that pretty quickly turned into him responding with verbal harassment and passive aggressive threats once he realized that wasn't going to work. His entourage would also typically join in and make fun of me too.

It eventually escalated to me finding ziploc baggies of strange powder lying around, and regular parties that just never ended. I ended up having to get the police involved and eventually get him evicted. He was pretty damned stupid so the police didn't have a lot of trouble collecting evidence against him.

It's pretty sad, I think I ended up learning that some people are only motivated by fear of consequences instead of some intrinsic desire to be good or something like that. He was a little angel for a few weeks after the police busted him, but once he realized that he was getting evicted he just reverted back and enjoyed himself some more before he left.

He parents sure seemed nice though, I'm betting they had a field day with him.
