ok so herpes can be passed not only from kissing, but from drinking from the same bottle/cup and similar activities, as you mentioned. It is known that it is a extremely common virus, such as 1 in 2 American adults probably has it, so it isn't so much of a big deal, and since you kissed her and everything else you def got it, even if you don't get any bumpy sore anywhere, most people don't even know they have it because of that. with all that, I don't think it is worth anyone's time to question it or be confronted about it, of course you can ask her, but it doesn't mean much as she has showed you she has it and openly talked about it, as you mentioned she gets it every summer, again, it is not a big deal so let it be.
