I have videos of them climbing things you wouldn’t think possible.

The number of gates, cord covers, outlet covers, different door knob covers, that we have been through is insane.

We lock our bathroom door and open it with a credit card from the outside because it’s the only way we can keep them out of the toilet/sink/tub.

I started out as a no corporal punishment parent, but I couldn’t keep them away from outlets and the stove. I ended up hitting them on the bottom because I tried so many ineffective things. I’m not saying in anyway it should be the first or even 5th thing you should do. But there is a time and a place.
