Yeah, I'd rather wait until they're at least mid-teens before medical intervention. Overall it's an extremely difficult spot to be in as a parent having to make the decision. It seems cut and dry, but when you look into the issue it's really heart breaking. Some things puberty does to the body can't easily be changed. Being a large trans woman with an adam's apple and broad shoulders because you went through puberty too young to prevent it is very damaging to the psyche. So as a parent, you'll looking at having to choose between potential physical or potential psychological damages. Either way, you're hoping the decision you make will work out to have been the correct one.
