Hey BTC idiots! Get this through your skulls

I'm not sure why everyone hates Bitcoin so much? Does everyone here like unaffordable home prices? Or the fact that food prices keep rising? What do you think happens when the dollar loses world reserve status? Or BRICS nation's create a gold backed CBDC? Or if more banks fail and we have an even worse banking crisis? Ever wonder how many lives would have been saved if all the countries who experienced hyperinflation or currency crisis had access to Bitcoin during those times?

What benefit does using a failing government backed currency have over Bitcoin? Am I talking to the "inflation is a good thing" crowd? Or can we agree that inflation is pointless now that we have tech that creates absolute scarcity? Anyone who says it's not a hedge against inflation is on too short of a time frame.

As much as everyone here argues that Bitcoin is useless, please tell me what benefits does government issued currency have over Bitcoin?

"Bitcoin isn't accepted everywhere." Okay, so let's change that?

"Bitcoin is too volatile." As is any asset class in its early stage of adoption.

"Bitcoin isn't regulated." The utility of Bitcoin doesn't change with or without regulation. Regulation just makes the vulnerable and irresponsible people feel safe. Why would a government regulate a currency that they can't control? Probably because it would end government corruption since it's a fully transparent ledger.

And to address the main comment. There is nothing about Bitcoin that is a "SCAM" and I don't have to tell anyone to go buy Bitcoin. Anyone who researches economics and knows that the average life span of a world reserve currency is 94 years would easily look for an alternative to the dollar. While the dollar does have the longest streak, but since the U.S. doesn't have a monopoly on oil anymore oil producing countries are starting to accept other currencies for oil, the Petro dollar is dead.

What is the alternative to the dollar? Or does everyone here think the dollar will just last forever like all the other countries thought their world reserve status currencies would?
