Hey a fellow ex muslim here, wanting to a few questions

I'm closet ex muslim for a few years now A Singaporean here, where are you all from?

Check out [this map](zeemaps.com/Ex-Muslims) add a generic location pin while you are at it.

How and why did you leave Islam?

Many reasons, but most importantly when I 13 and was exposed to different religions I figured out God was simply something I can't accept. Later on i learned to hate Islam the more I knew about it. So did hate all of religion as part of my exposure to atheism thinking that I was deprived off until I made it out of my home city.

I have only told a few friends Did you ever told your parents, siblings or friends?

Yes friends went from plentiful to 2 from back home that basically don't care. My coworkers don't really care until they ask me stuff about Muslims and I tell them I left Islam. Family only reduced to my mom, and my younger brother.

Is it good or bad idea to tell them?

It depends, I generally advice against it, I snapped and brought it up for different reasons than really want them to accept me for being an exmuslim.

That is a choice you are going to have to weigh it's pros and cons. I advice against making it before moving out and becoming independent, and definite no if you live in a Muslim country or around Muslim majority!

My sister been more religious now I don't know if it's because of her husband or it's Ramadan..

I would say a combination of both,

Most likely being married to a Muslim man didn't turn out to be what she thought it would be and she is having a crisis and feeling lost.

Then comes Ramadan and she find relief in escaping her world into eh fairytale of Islam.
