Hey guys, I'm a mod from r/PETA

Uh huh. I bet.

I know, it's very scary for you to be presented with an alternative viewpoint when your whole life is based on being brainwashed to follow a system. Anyone shaking the boat and saying there's another way is more easily discredited by strawman arguments and ad hominem even if that doesn't hold a bit of water under literally any scrutiny. When you're so insecure any critical view can be very frightening and illicit a lot of anger and rage. I assume you go through this a lot in your life. Probably a kid, or a very angry teen/adult. Maybe you'll grow out of it, maybe you'll be miserable your whole life. Much as you want to pigeonhole me with other 'vegans' in 'my sub', I'm not like them. They want you to join the ranks and will show you compassion and empathy. I think you had your chance and you're a waste.
