Hey made a 1 hour 1 shot Quest to send into Paizo wanna read it and critique it??

Many of the cities of Golarion are full of opportunity and success however in many cities this promise is tainted by the reality of living in the slums. Few enemies have had as much success in deterring would be adventurers as poverty. However in this particular slum there is a young half-orc with a knack for magic who refuses to miss his chance at escaping his own personal prison of mundanity.
In his studies, sparse and un-focused as they may be he came across a rather malicious master of magic who paraded as a gentle soul. This man gifted him with a scroll that would allow him to contact beings from other planes. Kugak, the young wizard was led to believe that such an entity would assist in his collection of knowledge and power, and while the casting was successful it was however far outside of the realm of young Kugak's ability to control the creature. Without the foreknowledge of preparation in using various protections and binding circles it became clear very quickly that this entity had no intention of helping or assisting the young magic aficionado.
Shortly after entering the material plane the entity decided it was going to use it new found freedom to wreak havoc on the surrounding slums. Using the last of his magic and his wits Kugak managed to abandon the immediate area pseudo immediately.
Reports of this attack on the slums spreads quickly and should reach most of the city within an hour of its conception.

Summary The PC's should be inclined towards the location of said entity or if no desire is voice they are then tasked with disposing of the entity and then ,should they choose, convincing the guards to not kill the young aspirant on the spot and further more deciding what to do with young Kugak.

Getting Started If the party shows initiative skip an interaction with a guard asking “Obviously well seasoned adventurers” for help or have said guard enlist their assistance in dealing with the unknown problem as the guards are stretched thin at the moment. As they approach read them this,

“The smell of fecal matter and filth mix's with the scent of recently charred wood and cloth. You feet begin to sink in the mud as you step into the slums of the city. The paths between huts are unusually empty and the bustle of this close knit community is over shadowed by the sounds of destruction in the air.”

Within moments of arriving in this neighborhood the group notices a young half-orc peeping out of a nearby building looking hysterical and he frantically waves them inside. Once some form of contact is reached read them the following.

“This isn't what I wanted to wanted to happen! This wasn't the plan. I never meant to hurt anybody please help me! It went over here I can show you!”

In the following conversation explain to the PC's in a frantic manner that the child's name is Kugak and that he attempted to use a scroll from an “Old magic guy” and it supposed to bring him something that could teach him about magic, but instead it brought an abomination that was angry and belligerent as soon as it arrived. Kugak has no idea why it didn't listen to him and is very obviously affected. A sense motive of 5 or more shows he is being genuine and is truly sorrowful.

Whichever monster is present may interact with the party with some form of arrogant playful banter before attacking but this is intended to be a fast quest so don't take too much time taunting before attacking and make sure you use that time to position him/her/it in an advantageous position.

Subtier 1-5 CR 4 Hala Demon

hp 50

TACTICS Before Combat The Hala Use's its Stormwind Aura to defend from ranged attackers.

During Combat The Hala uses its flyby to fly away after its attack and then when possible also calls down hail on the adventurers trying to stay out of range of melee attacks. Preferably behind its well placed wind wall.

Morale The Hala Demon fights to the death.

Subtier 5-9 CR 9 Devil, Osyluth (Bone Devil)

hp 130

TACTICS Before Combat The Devil uses major image to project an image of itself behind the PC's while it attmepts to summon another Osyluth.

During combat an Osyluth uses quickened invisibility after each attack to confuse foes.

Morale Once the Devil reaches 30 hp or lower it attempts to use greater teleport.

(if a second Osyluth arrives use same during combat tactics and moral)

Conclusion

Quickly after the outsider is dealt with the PC's should notice nearby guards circling around Kugak holding blades of some form and spitting various forms of racial slurs like “Half-breed” with obvious intent to kill. It however takes very little to calm them down and explain the situation a D iplomacy of 8 or so should do it depending on the eloquence of the PC. After that it is mostly up to the PC's what happens to the young magic user. Perhaps they take him to the nearest PFS hall to study where he cant run into trouble or perhaps tey kill him. You can roll play him as a rather gumptious but erratic character. Although in this exchange he will be rather shaken up by the events. If any mention of study or teaching is proposed he will literally jump a the idea. He has long been orphaned and is tired of doing parlor tricks to feed himself.
