Reading this brought tears to my eyes.

Even though I don’t know you or your story, I remember being in that same position (and at roughly the same age). And I think I know the feeling you’re describing. Feeling safe and settled and at home for the first time. And I remember not knowing exactly what to do, but I knew that no matter what I would be okay - because I was finally living “my” life.

I have no idea if I’m projecting or not (I definitely might be lol), but regardless of how you’re feeling I am so so happy for you. And so proud of you. Your strength and determination will help you do amazing things in life.
